The feeling that it's all a lot of oysters, but no pearls...
Then, all at once, you look across a crowded room
To see the way that light attaches to a girl...
And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe
Maybe this year will be better than the last
I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself
To hold on to these moments as they pass
-Counting Crows
I hope you all discover many pearls in 2006...

Thanks for all your hospitality! You are truly the Queen of hospitality! It was great getting to know you in person. Many blessings in 2006!
I do love me some Counting Crows
but usually just the depressing stuff...
the blues sound depressing, whether or not the lyrics are completely depressing... it just is, right?
kinda like when Debbie Downer speaks, she could probably say something positive and have it sound completely negative
not my "favorite" but it's up there...
and I know what you mean about his... presence
"I there's one more day up in the canyon, and one more night in Hollywood...I guess it makes you laugh a little harder makes you talk a little lower about the things you could not show her..."
(I suppose I should comment over here, too.)
Emily!!! What do I say in response to your comment that adequately expresses my appreciation for your words? You have made my heart dance a little jig - not just because you gave me a high compliment - but really more because you got engaged in my writing and met me in its meaning and its (hopefully) intended beauty. Thank you.
Emily that sounds great....especially the parties every week! ;) We would have fun.
you can have as many parties as you like, after all, you are the great party giver
heck, Lauren and I will let you have the parties at our new place
you're really mistaken
Oh dear. What have I gone and done?
Van Gogh, not my own... I wish, and I really should paint, I really want to
(also, I believe it is oil.)

547, it's about time you posted something new
yeah, "snap out of it!"
and yes, I love me some Guest.
No I did not take the picture. Just found it on the internet.
So it rained yesterday. Today we have 2 inches of snow on the ground from overnight and then this weekend it is suppose to be back up in the 50's. That is Indiana weather for you. As the saying goes here..."if you don't like the weather, wait a day, b/c it will change." :)
